Bhagavannam Mahima

All scriptures openly declare that bhakti or devotion is the only means to attain God. At the same time, however, they also state that in this present age it is only through sankirtan that we can realise God. In this discourse delivered on 8 November 1984, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj reconciles this apparent discrepancy for the understanding of all spiritual seekers. Shri Maharaj Ji discusses the science behind sankirtan and emphasises that God’s name must be taken with the firm belief that He is seated in His name with all His powers. If we practice sankirtan with this realisation in our heart and mind, then we will be able to relish the nectar of divine love in the pastimes, etc. of the Divine Couple.
