Narad Bhakti Darshan
The best and simplest path to attain God-realisation in this age is the path of bhakti or devotion. Sage Narada is considered the foremost acharya or spiritual teacher on the subject of bhakti. In his eighty-four aphorisms entitled “Narad Bhakti Darshan”, he has revealed the very essence of bhakti from all the Vedic scriptures. However, only a divine personality can truly understand and explain the subtle meanings of these aphorisms. It is said that only a Rasika Saint can understand the words and the ways of another Rasika Saint.
During October 1990, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj gave a very powerful series of eleven discourses as never witnessed before on “Narad Bhakti Darshan”. He presented his speeches with such intense philosophy, and in such a simple manner that any seeker on the path of bhakti needed no further knowledge to attain the ultimate goal of divine love.
Even though Narada Ji had intended these aphorisms for God-realised souls, Shri Maharajji very graciously simplified their inherent meaning for the benefit of all spiritual aspirants at any stage on the path of devotion. Most intellectuals and aspirants alike have commented that even its creator, Narada Ji himself, did not explain his own aphorisms so elaborately.
