Satsang

The greater the intensity of love, the sooner the chance of attaining the goal. Two very important things have already been attained by you: a human body and spiritual knowledge through association with a Guru. Both are the means of attaining God. Therefore, He has done His work, the Guru has done his, and now it is up to you to make the effort to attain the goal

Product Description

Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj gave these two short discourses on 8 December 2005 and 10 April 2006 respectively, instructing all spiritual aspirants to listen to the recordings daily. Many sincerely requested that they become available in printed form, hence the publication of this small booklet. Every word is like a power capsule for daily living, and an important reminder to continue our devotional practice uninterruptedly, without any further procrastination.

In the first discourse, Kripaluji describes what associating with a genuine Saint entails, that is, the mind must follow the teachings and will of the Saint. Merely sitting in a Saints company while the mind wanders off into worldly obsessions will not suffice. In the second, Kripaluji describes the three essential elements to complete our journey to God: a human body, associating properly with a genuine Saint, and having an intense longing in the heart to attain divine love. We learn that this last ingredient still eludes us, and so we must focus our attention on developing it. Kripaluji says that an aspirant's restlessness to meet God should be as intense as a fish that gasps for air when it is hauled from water.
