Tyagaraja Aradhana is observed every year by artists, gurus, students, and connoisseurs of Carnatic music around the world. On this auspicious occasion, homage is paid to the great Saint Composer Sri Tyagaraja (1767–1847), whose compositions in Telugu and Sanskrit glorify Lord Sri Rama.

Pushya Bahula Panchami, the Samadhi day of Saint Tyagaraja, is traditionally commemorated with the group singing of the Pancharatna Kritis, followed by individual and group renditions of his compositions.
