1. When is the Sarv Pitru Tarpan during Pitru Paksha?
Sarv Pitru Tarpan at Radha Krishna Temple is on Sunday, September 21, at 5:00 PM.
2. What is the difference between Pitru Paksha, Sarv Pitru Amavasya, and Sarv Pitru Tarpan?
Pitru Paksha is the 15-day period for ancestor rites. Sarv Pitru Amavasya (also called Mahalaya Amavasya) is the final new moon day of Pitru Paksha. Sarv Pitru Tarpan is the offering ritual performed on that day to honor all ancestors.
3. Is there a live broadcast for the Sarv Pitru Tarpan event?
Yes, this event will be broadcast. You can Join In-Person or Online.
4. What items should I bring for Sarv Pitru Tarpan?
Please bring fruits and flowers, a Pitru (ancestor) photo, and a coconut.
5. How do I register for the event?
Complete the registration form with your name, phone number, and email. A waiver is required at the time of registration.
6. Will I receive a confirmation email after registering?
Yes. You will receive a confirmation email with event dates, highlights, seva participation link, event page link, and an invite to join our RKT Inspirations Community WhatsApp group.
7. How can I participate in the Puja Online?
We've provided zoom link which will be used by the online participants to join for the Online Puja.
8. Are there sponsorship opportunities for Pitru Paksha events?
Yes. Sponsorships include Yajman ($101) and Samuhik Tarpan ($51). Annual sponsors will also be acknowledged.
